Here's a question for ya

Mc Hammer or Vanilla Ice?

For me I would have to say Mc Hammer, because he can dance and rap 100 times better then ice man and plus Mc Hammer is christian and a preacher.

The day of pain

Well on wensday it was a normal day at work. We had gotten a order to cut some 3/4 inch mdf about 40 sheets. So we got through the first 20 and started on the next 20 cut the first sheet and put it on a flat lumber cart. then cut sheet #2 and went to put it on the bottom sheet and when I did that its when the day of pain began. As soon as I put the cut sheet down, the bottom sheet flipped up and slide off the cart and hit my foot it had missed my steel to by inches. So here comes the pain and man it hurt bad. I limp back up to my desk and started to sweat feel sick and wanting to pass out, after that passed I took off my shoe and It didn't look good so I called my asst.manager on duty I told him it might be broken so they sent me to urgent care where they took some xrays. well its not broken but it is bruised and swollen and I have to where a cast shoe which is no fun. But anyway I am glad its not broke and should be back on me feet in about a week or so.

The List

Here is what they told me at work I need to do to become a redneck.
1. Go hunting.
2. See a Nextel Nascar race.
3. Go to a Alabama or Alburn game.
4. Go to a Kid Rock concert.

So if I was to do those things I just might become a redneck. Well I wouldn't mind doing the first 3 but not sure about number 4. Maybe if it was Faith Hill or The Dixie Chicks. Anyway thought that it was funny that they would give me a list of things to do to become a redneck.

Gone fishin

Well it has final begun Im on my way to becoming a redneck ye haw.
Anyways one of my guys that work with me, he is a fly fish instructor and we got to talkin about fishin and I told him that I have never been. My department head overheard the conversation and was in shock. He said we will have to just fix that. So they did, this past Tuesday me the fish expert and my department head went fishin after I got off work. It was fun we went to Lake Purdy on hwy 119 . Got to say I kinda liked fishin. Im pretty darn good at casting. Well anyways we were there for about 2 hr and the fish were biting and I caught 1 but when I went to set the hook the fish flew out of the water and got away that was the closest I got to catching a fish. I had a lot of fun. Can't wait to go again.

Home depot to the rescue

Well for the last week and a half Fema has been coming to are store and buying stuff for fort Mc cellen in anniston for hurricane katrina victims. Here is some of the stuff they bought.Beds, lamps, fridges, washer&dyers, towels, pillows, sheets, dressers, night stands, bed frames, chairs & tables and insulation. didn't think you could get some of this stuff from Home Depot but you can.It wasn't just a little that they bought ether.I think final total on what fema spent at just my Home Depot was close to 300,000 big ones and they might be buying more stuff next week. You know I felt good to be able to help out the hurricane victim's even alittle if all it was delivering all that stuff down to anniston.

What a wild week

This has been a wild week at work .There has been people coming from the gulf of Mississippi and as far as just out side of new Orleans to find water, gas cans and genrators.the Sunday before the storm came threw we had 50 generators in stock and they were gone within 1 hour. Then on Tuesday we got 40 more in and they were gone in 45 min. Wensday I went downtown to pick up 12 more generators and when I got back to the store they were gone in about 25 min. Had one person before I could even take them off the truck bought 3 right there. So to say the least I am wore out, I feel for these people some of there stories just broke my heart. Some of them are going home to almost nothing or not knowing what they will find when they get back or just wondering what they are going to do now. So please keep these people down south of use in your prayers .

Unchanging

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

His love, His mercy, His healing, His passion, His grace, His power, His blood and His spirit are never changed. That makes me more at peace to know that no matter what is going on in this world or in my life there is still one thing that is unchanged, that is my savior Jesus .

Man I have a great cook

Wow triple -c made an awesome meal last night. This is what was on the menu
a nice big juice tender loin
scallop potatoes they were creamy onion flavor
sum yummy green beans with bacon
man it was to die for. it was so good
I just have to say thank God for southern women, because they are the best cooks in the world in my opinion .
I loves it

theres little bit

Super D to the rescue

Well it goes a little something like this.

I got home from work and was getting ready to take a shower. Then all the sudden triple -c said did ya hear that. I said yes I did . It was the sound of a kitten meowin, so got up frpm the couch to see if I could hear where it was coming from.
got down on the kitchen floor and took a listen. It sounded like it was write under the washer and dryer. Got my kicks on and went outside too see If I could see
where it was under the house.shining my spotlight under the house coundn't find it but could hear it I kept going back and forth to the access doors and finally found the kitten it was so cute got up off the ground ran into the house told triple-c she came and saw it too. Then came time for me to save the day so I ran back in to the house and put on my Superman shirt and my cape and flew under the house to save the day. Not really but I did put on a long sleeve shirt and pants. So begins the journey got my spotlight and a stick to kill bugs and stuff anyways my biggest fear is to go under the house well I took a big breath and went for it. Man it felt like I was on fear factor. So anyway I got the kitten and made it back to safety. And that is how super d saved the kitten
(the end)

me and wonder woman
me, superman and my bro

Here's a question for ya

If you could eat anything you wanted right this minute what would it be ? Don't think about it just tell me real quick.

for me it would have to be an extra large pizza with ham and pineapple with a side of wings and cheese sticks and a large dr.pepper and for dessert a large bowl of Ben and Jerry cookie dough ice cream.

Its joke time

New inventions by blonds

The water-proof towel
Glow in the dark sunglasses
Solar powered flashlights
Submarine screen doors
A book on how to read
Inflatable dart boards
A dictionary index
Powdered water
Pedal powered wheel chairs
Water proof tea bags
Watermelon seed sorter
Zero proof alcohol
Reusable ice cubes
See through toilet tissue
Skinless bananas
Do it yourself roadmap
Helicopter ejector seat

In Christ alone

In Christ alone will I glory
Though I could pride myself in battles won
For I ve been blessed beyond measure
And by his strength alone I overcome
Oh I could stop and count successes
Like a diamond in my hand
But those trophies could not equal
To the grace by which I stand

(chorus)
In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In ever victory let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is in Christ alone

In Christ alone will I glory
For one by his grace I am redeemed
And only his tender mercy
Could reach beyond my weakness to my need
Now I seek no greater honor
Than just to know him more
And to count my gains but loses
And to the glory of my Lord
(repeat chorus)

(performed by: Michael English)

This song is very powerful, if you really think about it our life's would be a wreck if we didn't place our entire life in Christ hands. I am so glad we have a savior that no matter what we do or say it is in Christ alone. And that is an awesome thing to know.

Don't make me open this can!!!!

here is the story behind this can.

One day when I was in masters commission in Los Angeles we where getting ready to go to an outreach and every time before we got on the road we would stop at a gas station or 7 eleven to get some junk food and something to drink . Well we got to the gas station and as I was in there collecting my wonderful junk food. When I was getting something to drink I stumbled on this little energy drink. Had to have it so I bought it and has been sitting on my shelf now for 5 years.

Superman or Batman

So which super hero is your favorite?

Mine of coarse is Superman cause he can leap tall buildings in a single bound, faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful then a cho cho train, he can fly too and I like his outfit. If I could wouldn't mind being him for a week.

I love this song

You are the living word

(chorus)
Bread of life
Sent down from glory
Many things you were on earth
A holy king, carpenter
You are the iving word

(chorus 2)
Awesome ruler
Gentle redeemer
God with us,the living truth
And what a friend we have in you
You are the living word

(chorus 3)
Jesus Jesus
That's what we call you
Manger born, but on a tree
You died to save humanity
You are the living word

Performed by: Fred Hammond & Radical for Christ (Purpose by Design)

This is an awesome song it reminds us of the power in Jesus name and what he did for us and who he is . I loves it.

A new Superman shirt for your viewing pleasure

Can you write a caption for my picture?

D's Menu

O n tonight's menu:

eggsalad on tortillas.
a bowl of spaghetti o's.
left over fish from triple-c dinner last night.
some planters honeyroasted peanuts.
pringles the sourcream kind to dip in my eggsalad.
and to drink ice water.

does that not make you want to come over and cook for you.

A triple-c story

I know you have heard the stories that triple-c has told you about all the weird and sometimes dumb things I do well I have a story about her so here it goes.
Every day around 2:45 I call triple-c to let her know I am on the way home and so on. Well on this day I asked her to do something for me. I asked her to boil some eggs so when I got home I could make eggsalad cause I love it so much. Now she has boiled eggs for me before but everytime she does I have to remind her what to do. So this time I thought I won't have to explain it again sense she had done it before. So anyway I get home after a long drive home and the eggs where done and where on the back burner(so I thought). Well did my usual thing when I get home, then I go to the kitchen to make my menu for the night. I went over got the pan drained the water and began to wash the eggs off got done with that and proceeded to peel them. Well I cracked the first egg and it fell apart on me so I picked it up and I looked at what was left and it was half done. I looked over at triple-c and asked how long did you boil these eggs for and this is what she said " well I let the water come to a raging boil, then I put the eggs in the water, turned the stove off and then put them on the back burner to cook". I was like well that's not how you do it goofy so I explained to her one more time and we had a good laugh about it. So I guess the moral of this great story is, if I want eggsalad I will just have to boil the eggs myself. The End

(this has been an calibama production)

it's joke time

check this out its pretty funny

You just might be a Redneck if:

You've ever tried to drown a fish.
You can yell to your mom, "Hey, Aunt Betty!"
Your kids fight with the dogs for their dinner.
You've ever stood in line to have your picture taken with a freak of nature.
More than one living relative is named after a Southern Civil War general.
Your boat has not left the driveway in 15 years.
Your mother has been involved in a fist-fight at a high school sports event.
None of your shirts cover your stomach.
You consider a six-pack and a bug-zapper high-quality entertainment.
You've ever been kicked out of the zoo for heckling the monkeys.
You've ever bathed with flea and tick soap.Your family tree does not fork.
Your baby's first words are "Attention K-Mart shoppers.
"You have a Hefty Bag for a passenger-side window.
The fifth grade is referred to as " your senior year."
Three quarters of the clothes you own have logos on them.
Your gene pool doesn't have a "deep end."
You have the taxidermist's number on speed-dial.
Your dog and your wallet are both on a chain.
The UFO hotline limits you to one call per day.
Your two-year-old has more teeth than you do.
You have ever been accused of lying through your tooth.
Your underwear doubles as your bathing suit.
You let you kid pee in the parking lot at K-Mart.
