WOW

That's what I'm saying about my new job! It is over the moon incredible! The first 2 days were orientation & let me just say....It's one awesome company. One that really cares about it's people. Something that I haven't ever experienced before. After orientation yesterday, I got to spend time with my new boss. And today I got to fly solo. And it ended up being more responsibility, then me or my boss thought I would have on my first day, but it was really good. I am so loving this new place & the new adventure I'm on. And the food at the place doesn't hurt.

Long week

I'm gearing up for a very tiring week. I will be working 60 hours at my new job. And finishing up the last 20 hours at my old job. I'm looking forward to my new job, but not the hours I have to complete at the old one. But it's all good! I'm super excited about this new change in my life. It's a job that I have longed for, dreamed about. And it's going to be a blessing.

I stayed home from church today, to just chill out, rest up & spend time with C, since I know I will not be seeing much of her this week. I'm sure I will be coming home & crashing.

We have been playing Sims Castaway today. I've never liked the Sims before. C used to be addictive the the PC version a few years ago & this is our first time to use the PS2 version. We have had alot of fun with it. And it's the only video game, I've gotten C to play!

A day at the farm

Last weekend we went to a birthday party at a petting farm. I made me a couple of new friends.

I got it!!!!

They called me yesterday for me to come in & get my paper work for drug testing. I went over & they told me that they wanted me to start on Monday! I haven't even given my 2 week notice at my first job! So, I got that all squared away. I'm in shock that I'm going to be starting this new job so quickly. But man, am I excited! I will finally be involved in audio/visual productions & get paid for it!
I can't wait to say goodbye to my old 7 year job & start fresh at a new place.

V-day

C & I had a nice V-day. We made each other cards & then went out to eat at a great Mexican place. Nothing says I love you like chips & salsa!
We came home & watched Survivor & Celeb Apprentice. C made us some brownies & chocolate covered strawberries. It was a nice day. I love my wife.

2nd One

I had my second interview today. Now they are just checking out my references. I'm praying this works out!

Went Well

My interview went really well. The guy I would be working with seemed to be a nice guy. He even used to be a music pastor. I think we could work well together. I have high hopes for this job. It's totally up my alley. It's what I've trained for & have done for about 15 years, but have never got paid to do it! It's all I can think about. I sure hope it works out.

Interview

I found a job in the line of work that I went to school for! It's not that easy to find sound engineer jobs around here in Alabama, but thank the Lord there was one & I found it! I sent in my resume on Tuesday & they called me on today & my interview is tomorrow!!!

Change

What has been going on lately? I am going through a change in alot of areas in my life. I realized that I needed to grab ahold of my life & change things around, when I saw someone go through the lose of their child. The faith that they had. The strength they found in the Lord, just absolutely amazed me. It made me take a long look at myself. It inspired me to take the step to make a difference.Sure, I'm a Christian, but I want something deeper. Thankfully for me, my wife seems to be going through a transformation also. We have had some awesome talks about life, the Lord & how we want to live. Really live. It's been good.
