I know you have heard the stories that triple-c has told you about all the weird and sometimes dumb things I do well I have a story about her so here it goes.
Every day around 2:45 I call triple-c to let her know I am on the way home and so on. Well on this day I asked her to do something for me. I asked her to boil some eggs so when I got home I could make eggsalad cause I love it so much. Now she has boiled eggs for me before but everytime she does I have to remind her what to do. So this time I thought I won't have to explain it again sense she had done it before. So anyway I get home after a long drive home and the eggs where done and where on the back burner(so I thought). Well did my usual thing when I get home, then I go to the kitchen to make my menu for the night. I went over got the pan drained the water and began to wash the eggs off got done with that and proceeded to peel them. Well I cracked the first egg and it fell apart on me so I picked it up and I looked at what was left and it was half done. I looked over at triple-c and asked how long did you boil these eggs for and this is what she said " well I let the water come to a raging boil, then I put the eggs in the water, turned the stove off and then put them on the back burner to cook". I was like well that's not how you do it goofy so I explained to her one more time and we had a good laugh about it. So I guess the moral of this great story is, if I want eggsalad I will just have to boil the eggs myself. The End

If ya'll would look at Crystal's roots really close, you will find that they are really blond!!!
What's so funny is I can cook a very detailed recipe, but I can't boil a stinkin' egg! For some reason I can't remember how. I ask every time & always forget. My excuse is I don't like eggs, so I could care less how to boil them. :)
Mike boiled some eggs the other day....he complained that they weren't done in the center. I asked how long he boiled them and he said "FIVE MINUTES! isn't that long enough?" I told him it depends on whether he wants "hard" boiled or "soft" boiled eggs.
Okay Ladies...follow these simple instructions for the perfectly boiled egg, everytime. Place eggs in saucepan, cover with cold water. Put on stove on med/high heat and bring to a boil. Place lid on pan, turn stove off, and let sit 10 minutes (no peeking, DO NOT LIFT LID). They must sit at least 10 minutes to be completely done. They can sit longer, but 10 minutes AT LEAST. rg
My mom always said to wait until the eggs float...then you know their done!
